About Democrats of North Siskiyou
Democrats of North Siskiyou is a new club that was formed in late 2006 to provide a forum for Democrats residing in the North Siskiyou County area. The club meets the Third Wednesday of each Month at 6:00PM at the Purple Plum Restaurant in Yreka.
We're a newer club, but already we have a track record of accomplishment, including opening and staffing a Democratic Party office in Yreka for the period leading up to the election.

About the Siskiyou County Democratic Central Committee
The Siskiyou County Democratic Central Committee was created by the California State Democratic Party. Members of the Central Committee are nominated by Democrats in the Supervisorial District in which the member resides. The job of the Central Committee is to charter Democratic clubs in the county, to coordinate between them, to set policy for the California Democratic Party in Siskiyou County and to organize Democrats to work on electoral campaigns.
The Central Committee acts through Democratic Clubs such as the Siskiyou Democratic Club.
Central Committee meetings are open to the public and take place the first Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in various locations.

Are you tired of sitting in meetings that drone on and tell you stuff you already know? Then try the new Siskiyou Democratic Club.
There has been an active Democratic presence in Siskiyou County for many years. The original Siskiyou County Democratic Club and the Jefferson Democrats have joined as the new Siskiyou Democratic Club. A new club, Democrats of North Siskiyou has been formed for Democrats in the North County area.
The Siskiyou Democratic Club is dedicated to action - getting things done instead of just talking about it. We believe that political effectiveness starts at the local level - that we can take back the Federal government - that we can keep California green, golden and Democratic - only if we actually do something.
At the Siskiyou Democratic Club, each of our meetings is dedicated to planning and organizing a club activity that will make a difference, such as:
- Working to recruit and elect qualified candidates for Siskiyou County offices
- Working for Democratic candidates for local, State and Federal offices
- Having an active presence at 4th of July, the Siskiyou County Fair and elsewhere
