About the Siskiyou County Democratic Central Committee
Working to increase participation and registration of Democrats throughout Siskiyou County.
The Siskiyou County Democratic Central Committee is the official link to the California State Democratic Party. The job of the Central Committee to set policy for the California Democratic Party in Siskiyou County and to raise the visibility and participation of Democrats though out the County. It also charters Democratic clubs in the county and coordinates between them. The Central Committee's focus includes:
Working to educate Democrats that no party in Siskiyou County holds the majority of registrations. (Fact: Republicans only represent 42% of all registrations with 10,000+, registrations for Democrats are 8,000+ and Declined to State registrations are 6,000)+.
Working to recruit and elect qualified candidates for Siskiyou County offices.
Working for Democratic candidates for local, State and Federal offices.
Having an active presence at 4th of July, the Siskiyou County Fair, Yreka Gold Rush Days and elsewhere throughout the county.
Central Committee meetings are open to the public and take place the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM with dinner and socializing at 5:30 PM.
The meeting locations alternate each month between Mt. Shasta and Yreka. Car pooling is available.

About Democrats of North Siskiyou
Democrats of North Siskiyou is a club that was formed in late 2006 to provide a forum for Democrats residing in the North Siskiyou County area. The club meets the Third Wednesday of each Month at 6:00PM at the Purple Plum Restaurant in Yreka. (social @ 5:30)
