At present we need volunteers to help staff our Democratic Party HQ in Yreka (Tue.-Sat. 11am - 6pm) until elections. Anyone interested in helping to staff the office, contact Tony Hill (530) 468-4250 or tonyhill@tonyhill.net There will be two - 3 1/2 hour shifts each day ( 11 am to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 6 pm) The ideal situation would be to have two people per shift. If you want to team up with a friend, please do, just let Tony know. Saturday Sept. 13 will be our Grand Opening and it coincides with SeptemberFest. Miner Street will be closed for the day with arts and craft booths set up in the street.
We have a voter registration drive happening at Raley's and we need volunteers for that, too. Those days are Sept 6th & 13th and Oct 4th & 11th (all Saturdays) from 10 am to 6 pm If you can help on any of these days, please contact Mike Cassady (530) 467-3122 sadpanic@mefer.net
We will have regular needs this election year for volunteers to distribute campaign literature, to walk neighborhoods and to participate in other upcoming events as they are planned.
