There are many ways to get involved with DCCSC!  Volunteer activities include serving as a precinct worker or watcher, canvassing for candidates and ballot initiatives, sending out postcards, "manning" DCCSC voter registration booths, making phone calls, assisting with fundraising or fundraisers, helping out with office duties at election time, and more!

Elections are coming up fast! We need your help as a volunteer! And donor!

 

In addition to the Midterms in November 2026 when we must take back Congress,  because of the vacancy in Congressional District 1, a special election is required to complete the term of Doug LaMalfa. 

Because Siskiyou County is in CD1 until January 2027, we will be voting for two Congressional candidates in June - first the replacement for LaMalfa and second for our new district - CD2. Siskiyou County is in CD1, however with the passage of Prop 50, our county will be moved to join the coastal counties in CD2 beginning January 2027.  

 

 The primary for the CD1 seat replacement will be held June 2 during the state’s regular primary election. If no candidate wins a majority, the top two finishers will face off in a runoff on August. 4.) 

 

Democrats in Siskiyou County are almost 10,000 strong! Help us grow our numbers to effect meaningful and lasting change in Siskiyou County!
