If are interested in attending any of these protests, we are working on setting up a carpool process so you don't have to go alone! Just CONTACT US and don't forget to include your name and phone number! We'll work on getting people together to drive to the events.
Below is a list of some upcoming local activities where you can be involved! Although the Siskiyou Democrats are not sponsoring all of these events, we wanted to let you know what is happening!

ACLU.ORG'S "KNOW YOUR PROTESTER RIGHTS!" The First Amendment protects your right to assemble and express your views through protest. However, police and other government officials are allowed to place certain narrow restrictions on the exercise of speech rights. Make sure you’re prepared by brushing up on your rights before heading out into the streets.

2025 was a year of marches that proved our collective strength. And the threats have grown so we must too. This moment calls for escalated commitment from our movement.
On January 20th, we will walk out of work, school, and commerce because a Free America begins the moment we stop cooperating with fascism.

Peace Through Action Postcard Meet Up.
Saturday, January 24: 2pm to 4pm at the Mount Shasta Brewery with a special theme of "Finding Compassion." Bring postcard stamps if you can. ​
