Two Area Graduating Senior off to college!

For the first time this year, the Democratic Central Committee of Siskiyou County presented two $1000 scholarships to graduating HS seniors in May.Â
The scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating a combination of academic achievement, participation in extra-curricular activities, volunteerism and a belief in Democratic values.Â
We are pleased to announce the two winners: Zoe Ehrlich from Yreka High School who will be attending UC Berkeley and Kylene Mitchell from Weed HS who will be attending Illinois Wesleyan University.
